Gun advocates commonly quote the second amendment saying that our forefathers wanted us to have gun's in case we need them in defense of our lives or our liberties. If they wish to become part of a well regulated state militia they should be allowed to own a gun after they have had the adequate training. Our forefathers did not want a country filled with guns they wished for the sensible people to have the ability to be trained in order to defend in case of an attack. The did not want anyone to be able to own/purchase a gun otherwise they would not have included being part of a militia to the amendment. Stop picking and choosing which rules you want to abide by, it doesn't work that way.
