It is ridiculous that those who impersonate Armed Service members get off scot-free after being accused of stolen valor. Sending them to Basic Training is a way to put them through the struggles that an actual soldier has to go through in Boot Camp, and making them understand the commitment that comes with being an Armed Services member.
Additionally, this would make them earn respect for veterans, and they would learn life experiences this way.
