Arne Duncan, U.S. Secretary of Education, has recently used both race and gender in an argument rejecting the opinions of the people in opposition of the new Common Core standards.
According to the Washington Post, he believes the outrage stems from "white suburban moms who — all of a sudden — their child isn’t as brilliant as they thought they were..."
How can the American People support an official with the audacity to make such a profound statement?
Common Core and standardized testing is a threat to the education of our youth and an organized campaign by testing corporation Pearson driven solely by greed - this is not a belief restricted to "white suburban moms."
We the People request that Arne Duncan is forced to step down in an effort to reclaim our public education system.
