Too often soldiers and veterans are forced to wait months or even years for payment ranging from anything from basic pay to housing allowance. This delay can range anywhere from months to years. sometimes the soldiers simply give up on there hard earned money after fighting an uphill battle. Most veterans know a friend who has been unjustly thrown into economic hardship due to financial errors of the VA/Military, often times forced to max out credit cards not be able to pay there basic utilities or rent... or even feed there families. eventually when the "back pay" finally arrives more often then not those soldiers and veterans lose most or all of it paying off a mountain of debt that had built up from not being paid. currently there is no system to reimburse soldiers/vets for that loss.
