force Wells Fargo and Alaska Housing Finance Corporation to grant loan modifications to clients who request them

the president should force the banks to hold up their end of the bargain. after 6 years of asking for a loan modification and over a year of submitting and resubmitting paperwork our loan modification was turned down because they claim they had no proof we lived in the house. despite the fact that we personally gave their agent a tour of the house. this has happened to many hard working families, they offer the carrot of a loan modification and then do everything in their power to make it near impossible to get. our tax dollars have already paid for these loan modifications when the president gave the banks money to stabilize the economy. the money should have been given directly to home owners or paid directly to mortgage accounts, but it wasn't and now the banks don't to do their part
