Wireless carriers and OEM's of smartphones sell you on the fact that they phone has 16GB of storage. But after the carriers install applications that you do not use (i.e., Verizon's VZ Navigator) you are only left with 6GB of usable storage. This is a bigger deal when you have a phone with no SD slot to add additional storage, forcing you to use one of the many cloud storage apps, which could potential make you pay for this. Also, with the data limits put in place, you have the potential to go over you data limits. I ask that you sign this petition to force carriers to allow you to delete the apps that you do not use and truly control what you have on your device.
