Force Wireless Carriers to Drop their Data package requirements for Smart phone activations.

Created by B.S. on March 19, 2013

Currently All major US mobile carriers force customers to pay for a data plan with the activation of any "Smart Phone" regardless of whether the customer needs data or not. These carriers have the ability to block data usage from their "switches" however, purposefully do not include this ability in their billing systems. This is to force customers to pay for the privilege of highway robbery.

This is a larcenous act, and it costs the US consumer thousands of millions, if not billions of dollars every year. It amount to taxation where their is no representation, and no recourse but to pay the Highwaymen their toll.

Change the law to allow Consumers to "Opt-Out" of forced data plans, forcing people to pay for services not used, wanted, or needed is wrong and the law should reflect that.
