While our news stories are focused on the war in Syria and in other skirmishes around the globe, we seem to have taken a policy to ignore our neighbors to the South. Mexico has suffered the loss of tens of thousands of people in the war on drugs in these past several years and it is commonly known that Hezbollah has taken up in numbers as well on the Eastern Coast in Mexico and they are adding a new dimension to the threat. With their added presence, there has also been a recent surfacing of the use of RPGs. This raises the conditions of gun battled skirmishes the all out war-like conditions. The US government needs to make a resolution to put troops on the ground and help eliminate these threats before we have a fully armed war spill across our borders.
