Both Chicago and Iceland have taken their lumps in 2012, and both seem sorely in need of a reminder of their own greatness. Serendipitously, Chicago native R. Kelly and Iceland's Björk Guðmundsdóttir, cultural treasures each, are both performing at the same festival in Chicago's Union Park this July. In the interest of advancement of the arts—and I say this as a citizen not just of the United States of America, but also the universe—it seems obvious to me that we, as a nation, should do everything in our power to have them collaborate. "Big Time Sensuality" seems like the simplest middle ground between Kelly's and Guðmundsdóttir's standard modes—naturally, I'm speaking of the album mix, and NOT the (admittedly more uptempo) video mix here—so I hereby call upon the president to intervene.
