We the residents have decided to start this petition because our city is near bankruptcy due to funding services more then it takes in. The city has ignored numerous calls by people of the community to dismantle the City Charter. We want the Federal Government to intervene by conducting a Federal audit of the City of Cumberland of its finances to see if dismantle of the City Charter can occur.
