Given that many citizens from state of Texas are opposed to a notion of a UNITED States of America, in which federal government pursues equality and justice for all, it is practically feasible for Texas to be unilaterally removed from the union and allowed to pursue its own version of nationhood. After removing Texas from the United States of America, we urge the federal government to allocate funds and establish programs to assist the anticipated influx of Texan refugees and political asylum seekers. As a humanitarian gesture, we recommend fast-tracking the immigration and naturalization process for these refugees.
