Forcing AT&T to provide TEMPORARY iPhone unlock for its customers who travel abroad frequently

Created by A.L. on December 03, 2013

Companies like AT&T refuses to unlock its customers' phones if they are under contract, understandably because these phones were subsidized.

However, why can't AT&T provide a TEMPORARY unlock solution for these phones if they are only to be used briefly while we traveling abroad where AT&T's service does not even exist?

For frequent international travelers, this is a HUGE inconvenience. We urge AT&T to review its unlocking policy.
