Foreign Worker Minimum Wage

Created by D.F. on November 13, 2012

It is proposed that a separate minimum wage be established for all foreign nationals working in the US regardless of legal status. It is also proposed that said minimum wage be set at 3 times the national minimum wage or $21.75 per hour. This is to prevent immigration from putting downward pressure on the wages of lower and middle income Americans. It is likewise proposed that any employers found in violation of said minimum wage law be required to backpay all foreign workers.
