Forget the Death Star, build a TARDIS!

Created by J.G. on January 12, 2013

As I understand, some people proposed that a Death Star is built to generate jobs and so on. The cost may be too high, though.
A TARDIS, however, wouldn't cost too much.
It would initially cost more than that, of course, but, right after building it, you could take the leftover money, use the TARDIS to go back in time and invest it - compound interest being what it is, it would actually solve the debt problem in one go.
It would also create a golden age of scientific discovery for America and the world.
It would also create jobs - in fact, it could create jobs at times in which there was a shortage of workforce, allowing for greater economic development at all eras.
As I am sure there will be no shortage of guys in tweed suits with bowties to lend a hand in piloting it.

Thank you.
