In 2008, the IRS allowed first time home buyers to revive a one time credit of up to $7500 for the purchase of home from 4/2008-12/2008. This credit was essentially a no-interest loan that required repayment of the "credit" in installments over 15 years. Those terms would appear reasonable, however another credit was offered in 2009 and 2010 to allow for home buyers to recieve the credit without repayment. It has been 7 years since the first credit was offered, and it is time of the ainistration to stick up for theose buyers will to purchase home in one of the worst economic markets in recent history. This petion is to formally request a full forgiveness and waiver of the repayment of the 2008 first time home buyer credit.
