Forgive 50% of Student Loan Debt

Created by T.W. on April 17, 2013

US colleges and universities have spent millions on new buildings, technology, salaries, and athletics, while constantly increasing tuition rates. School leaders have largely adopted a college-as-a-business approach to education. The result has been massive increases in the costs of college for many Americans.

Additionally, we are told that college is a must, and that a bachelor's degree is now equivalent to a high school diploma.

The solution is to have wealthy parents or live in poverty to in order to obtain a degree.

Millions of students have been placed in a no-win situation, and have essentially been taken advantage of.

As a result, all federal Stafford student loan debt should be decreased by 50%.

This may allow millions of students to achieve the American dream.
