Seeking elimination of student/parent college loan interest that is currently capitalized into loans, making the repayment of such loans a horrible burden--and often an impossibility-- for graduates and parents alike. Also seeking elimination of usury fees, penalties, other unfair fines that do not offer explanation or reasoning for such practices, and are added, at the will of the lender, at any time during the life of the loan. Asking for cap on tuition, total student loan debt and reduction of interest to a low, simple interest rate only.
Please eliminate allowance of student loans to accrue interest while in forbearance. Understand that loans are in forbearance precisely because students/parents are experiencing financial difficulties.
