forgive all federal and private student and parent plus loans and reduce interest rates retroactively.

Created by B.C. on November 20, 2011

All student and parent plus loans, private included, have outrageous interest rates, even during deferment periods. The students are not able to obtain credit elsewhere, however, end up with six figure loans prior to graduation in many degree programs.
The basic loan amounts are increasing as the schools fill their classrooms with three shifts of students, military veterans and spouses, high school graduates, and mid-life career changers, all of who are struggling already.
Forgiveness of all these loans would be a positive direction in improving the economy for those families and the communities in which the families reside.
Forgiveness for all the loans would be fair and equal for everyone.
