Forgive all federal student loans under $40,000 from 1997 - 2008.

Created by M.F. on December 18, 2012

By forgiving those outstanding student loans totaling less than $40,000 we would actually be adding to the economy. Freeing up an additional $300-$400 a month per person paying these loans off would allow for more spending and home ownership. This money could be freed up to spend on goods and services (back in circulation in the economy). This would add to the health and stability of our economy and allow for future growth.
