Forgive government-funded student loans for citizens who've GRADUATED from their respective institution(s) of higher education and who have NO CRIMINAL RECORD. It's that simple. ASA.org, a website dedicated to working toward student loan repayment solutions reports that approximately 37 million Americans have outstanding student loan debt, with the U.S. government being owed about $864 billion dollars. While certainly some of that money is owed by those who've dropped out or have criminal records, there's no question that a large portion of it is owed by hard-working, tax-paying citizens. Let's help stimulate the economy, and reward these people by taking this financial burden off their shoulders. They should be rewarded for their hard work, not punished for it.
