Many citizens today are burdened by student loan debt, making it difficult or impossible for them to invest in their own future, which is robbing the economy of these citizens' full participation. By forgiving all outstanding federal student loan debt, the Obama administration will be making an investment in the future of our country, enabling educated and hard working citizens to get out from under the shadow of debt and truly contribute to our economy.
