As a result of factors such as the recession, Superstorm Sandy and now the fiscal cliff, our Congress and Senate are supposedly looking for ways to assist the economy. However, they are missing the most simple way to do that: heighten the ability for individuals to purchase items by removing their long standing financial burdens. Therefore, we petition the Obama Administration to forgive student loans of people who have 1.) had to enter any welfare program in the fiscal year or 2.) have been financially affected by Superstorm Sandy. This will not only relieve so many individuals, but also assist the economy by evading a burden and allowing those assisted to involve themselves more fiscally in the heightened need for fiscal involvement.
