The purpose of this petition is to quantify and eliminate the economic hardship cast upon Steven James Biars of West Portsmouth, Ohio by the unfavorable economic and energy policies placed forth by a deadlocked, ineffective congress, exacerbated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the Obama Administration.
At the time in which the loans in question originated, the interest rate on these federally acquired student loans was 3.4%. Through ineffective leadership, and economic hardships imposed by policies enacted by the Obama Administration, these rates have reached in excess of 7% in some instances. My degree, hedged in geology, is therefore handicapped by the administration and its policies against oil, coal, and natural gas exploration.
