Most elder and latent education students don't want to live an unproductive life. They want to contribute to society even if they are already beyond 55 years old. Many of us who had gone--either for the first time, or back to school, have believed in the rhetoric that "education will get you the job you need," and have bought into educational institutions, including those online. Initially, all institutions welcome elder students, as well as giving them financial debt. Now, many elder "students" who have attained degreed status cannot find work in the fields they have degreed themselves in because of longevity issues. If they won't be hired, these elder students need relief from education debt!!
