Forgiving federal student loan debt could help the economy by giving students who have huge loan debt the ability to purchase a house and contribute more to their local economies. We bailed out GM, why not bail out your citizens who got an education because we were told we needed it to have a good life. Now, we get out of school, there are no jobs and we can't afford to pay it back.
