Forgive the First Time Homebuyer's credit of 2008.

In 2008 and 2009, two homebuyer credits were created. Although similar, they were created unequal. If you purchased a home in 2008, your homebuyer credit must be repaid whenever you sell. However, if you purchased a home in 2009, the credit did not need to be repaid if you lived in it for at least 3 years. We are asking President Obama to forgive the 2008 First Time Home Buyer credit also. Homeowners who bought their homes in 2008 are having as much as a hard time in the struggling economy as those who bought in 2009. It is unfair that one must repay, and the other does not. Repaying the large balance all at once is a huge financial burden. If you cannot pay the back the whole amount, you could face an estimated tax penalty.
