Forgive or Partially Forgive Existing Federal Student Loan Debt

Hundreds of thousands of students are drowning under the weight of crippling student loan debt. This debt can affect a student's quality of life or even the job choices they make. Many jobs require internships (unpaid) and training (unpaid) that recent graduates cannot take because of their student loans.

Many students are choosing not to advance their education for fear of the loans they will incur. This limits the number of Many more, who could not afford to stay in school even with loans, are now struggling to figure out how to pay it back. This affects the number of qualified young professionals that are going to be out in the field in the future.

It would benefit the upcoming members of the work force as well as the country for their loans to be forgiven or partially forgive
