College graduates are the most immediate future of our economy and nation. While not responsible for the economic crisis we are in, otherwise hard working young individuals are facing mounting debts and struggling to decide between preserving a good credit standing that will benefit them in the future or eat and pay typical living expenses and bills of today.
With the financial bail out that was given to the banking industry at a very high cost to the future generations of the American people, how can banks expect to collect further from graduates who have nothing to give in this economic state?
In reparation, there should be a student debt forgiveness program for those graduating 5 years prior to the recent depression and 5 years after suitable stabilization of the American economy.
