Forgive student loan debt for soldiers that have deployed in support of combat operations since 9/11.

Since 9/11, soldiers, sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen have deployed repeatedly in support of the war on terror, OIF, and OEF. Less than 1% of our population has been carrying the load of this war. The effect of these deployments, particularly in the Reserve/Guard, has been to make it difficult, if not impossible, to become economically secure between deployments due to being deployed every few years. Returning soldiers are burdened with student loan debt, the underlying education for which the debt was obtained, has benefitted the military services during the deployments. It is equitable to forgive this debt, or at a minimum forgive one year of debt for each year of service in a combat zone since 9/11. This forgiveness should be in reverse order of education obtained.
