Forgive Student Loans or allow use of Post 9/11 GI Bill for Veterans who incurred them prior to Military Service

Created by D.O. on January 27, 2012

Some Military Branches pay off student loan debt for students who attended college prior to service. However this is not the case for all Branches of the Military. Student loans have become one of the largest financial burdens facing young adults today, making it nearly impossible thrive in todays world.
Therefore we, the undersigned believe that the government should forgive student loan debt or allow the Post 9/11 Mongomery GI Bill pay back student loans for Active Duty, Veteran and Retired Military personnel. The members whom serve their country honorably have earned the right to use the GI Bill as we see fit and this should include payment on old student loans.
