Forgive Student Loans of Social Workers.

Created by M.R. on February 14, 2014

Having qualified and well trained mental health professionals is critical when trying to maintain the health and resilience of the United States of America. Furthermore, research has conclusively demonstrated the efficacy and significant financial benefits of social workers in all professional domains. However, many social workers struggle financially and the industry is adversely impacted by significant turnover because of low-wages. As a result, it is critical that full-student loan forgiveness be extended to master's prepared social workers when they complete five years of service post-graduation.
