Many Veterans that are disabled can no longer work. This makes it almost impossible for any tax debt owed to be paid in a timely manner. This is made especially difficult due to the formula for Cost of Living for Social Security and Veteran Compensation being tied to fuel prices, which last year led to no cost of living increases for 2016. People on disability that can no longer work are constantly losing buying power and have to make due with less and less. Our Veterans should be taken care of better than they are.
