A forgiveness for my son, due to the fact that he received a package that wasn't for him, he lost most of his rights

I wish to ask for a forgiveness for my son, which he received a mistaken package and was sentenced a drug felony. In almost eight years after this incident, he has worked honorably and has not had any problem with law, wishing he could fix his legal papers in the future.His family has 5 members. he have three kids. His two daughters and his wife are Costa Rican and we do not have legal residency. My son is Cuban and my three year old grandson is American and was diagnosed with Autism. I please ask for your help, to help me with my son's problem, which then I would be able to fix his legal papers and his family to, since the girls are good students and deserve and wish for a good education and life in this country.
