Forgo the current plan of applying further taxation to mobile phone use.

Created by P.T. on August 15, 2013

Currently the president seeks to connect the bulk of American schools to high speed internet. While This truly is a worthy cause, he plans to do it by adding a further tax to mobile phone use. The rate would only add about $5 onto a bill a year for the next 3 years. While this sounds like a small sacrifice consider how much is already collected in taxes for your mobile phone, sometimes as much as 9 local, state, and federal taxes. While this may be a temporary measure what's to say it won't be more permanent, how many temporary measures are still being used today. Lets stand together and let the president know that there are better ways to connect our schools than by taxing one of the few sectors that were relatively unhurt in the financial meltdown!
