We petition the Obama administration to form the 51st state of Roosevelt from the Texas Counties of Bowie, Marion, Cass, Harrison, Panola, Shelby, San Augustine, and Sabine; The Louisiana Parishes of Caddo, DeSoto, Sabine, Nacitoches, Red River, Bienville, Lincoln, Claiborne and Webster; And the Arkansas Counties of Miller, Lafayette, Columbia, Union, Calhoun, Ouachita, Nevada, Hempstead, Little River, Sevier, Pike, Clark, Dallas, Hot Springs, Garland, and Howard. The capital would be Shreveport or Texarkana, and the population as of the 2012 US Census is 1,078,752.
