Form a coalition with moderate Republicans. Their voice has been squelched by the far right and it is time for change.

This petition heightens my anger over the current status of the Republican Party. They used to be a party that truly represented Americans. Now the moderates have been removed or silenced because they do not agree with the hardliners that have taken control. Their voice is not going to be heard if they have to deal with individuals such as John Boehner, Eric Cantor or Grover Norquist. Moderate Republicans have been essentially silenced because if they do not follow the No-Tax Pledge, are not socially conservative enough, or compromise, the power of lobbyists such as Grover Norquist and the Koch Brothers can remove them from power. Having moderate Republicans work together with Democrats could solve the problems plaguing all Americans and be a step to reducing power of political lobbies.
