We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Form a congressional Committee to review the FDA's Deeming of Vapor products as Tobacco Products.

Created by I.P. on August 02, 2016

Under the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act, the FDA deemed electronic cigarettes and other vapor products as tobacco products, bringing them within the regulatory control. In 2016, volumes of controlled scientific studies exist within the USA, EU, other nations to disprove the misnomers surrounding nicotine addiction, existence of second hand vapor, and/or other perceived harms to the public health by vapor products and vapor delivery systems. We therefore request a congressional committee to re-examine the deeming as tobacco products per Unified Agenda 0910-AG38 .
