Form task force to respond to Fukushima disaster and prevent the west coast of North America from becoming uninhabitable

Created by D.W. on August 21, 2013

Experts disagree on how to respond to the disaster at Fukushima nuclear reactor, but it's clear that time is running out. If we don't help the Japanese clean-up the site soon, the spent full rods may go critical as the buildings degrade spewing radiation into the air and ocean which would spread across the Pacific.
Possible worst case scenarios could render the entire west coast of North America uninhabitable as far east as Colorado.
Even if it's only remotely possible, the impact is so apocalyptic that we need to act, and act now.
Ideally this will involve many nations with experts from all over the world. This is too big a problem for any one country to solve.
Thank you for your consideration.
