The United States of America is one of only three countries in the world that has yet to adopt the metric system as the official measurement system. THREE countries on the entire planet don't use the metric system, the other two being Myanmar and Liberia. Not exactly a prestigious list. Not only is it easier to use, switching to the metric system will also help increase our scientific literacy as country.
