None of the legislation that has been proposed on the national level would have had any impact on what happened in Newtown. This clearly shows that the tragic deaths of those in Sandy Hook are being used to support a range of purely political motives. This is an outright shame. We demand the President apologize for his tasteless, disrespectful, and incredulous behavior.
