formally ban all non-quarantined flights to and from Ebola-infected countries and put more funding into fighting Ebola.

The Ebola crisis has already killed an estimated 2,909 people and infected an estimated 6,185 people. It has spread from Guinea to 4 additional countries, 3 by land and 1 by air. While Ebola has not been proven to be airborne in a natural setting, Canadian researchers have found that Ebola can travel by air in a lab, and the prospect of Ebola being airborne has never been disproved either. Therefore, we propose as a safety precaution to ban flights that have not been intensely quarantined to and from any infected countries. Again, while the prospect of Ebola traveling to the US seems unlikely, an Ebola outbreak in North America could become a very real threat. We also support increased funding to not only fight the crisis via the military but to research it more also and end the crisis.
