We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Formally change the name of the“No-Fly List” to the “No-Fly Yet Still Can Buy a Gun List".

Created by L.B. on June 20, 2016

After the 6/12 terrorist attack in Orlando, in which a terrorist killed 49 Americans with an assault rifle, Congress failed to pass crucial, life-saving legislation. The amendments proposed by Senators Feinstein and Murphy would have given the AG the ability to block gun sales to suspected terrorists & expanded the background check system to include private gun sales. Further, this inaction by Congress comes only 6 months after they failed to do the same following the terrorist attack in San Bernadino. These failures by Congress only continue the dangerous & appalling practice of allowing individuals on the No-Fly List to legally purchase guns. For the sake of accuracy, we ask the President to formally change the name of the“No-Fly List” to the “No-Fly Yet Still Can Buy a Gun List".
