Formally condemn and cut all federal aid to Uganda, should they decide to pass the Anti-Homosexuality Bill

Created by P.G. on November 12, 2012

The Anti-Homosexuality Bill of 2009 is a legislative proposal awaiting action in the nation of Uganda. This bill seeks to criminalize homosexuality in two capacities, carrying, at minimum, a life sentence in prison for the simple action of loving someone.

This bill is a violation of basic human rights and needs to be struck down with formal condemnation by the international community. The United States should also warn the government of Uganda that any and all forms of foreign aid will be ended by the United States, should this bill be passed into law.
