Over the years, there have been studies both positively and negatively describing dog breeds and their aggressive behaviors. While the CDC does maintain lists of dog breed types in animal attacks, insurance companies use that data to a discriminatory end. They can cancel or not insure a family with specific dog breeds, or place unfair rates on those families. As an owner of almost all "aggressive breeds", I feel it is unfair for insurance companies to use that CDC data. I believe that using that data constitutes a discriminatory act, and should be disallowed.
