It is imperative that the White House and Federal Government take a stand for free speech and the first amendment.
The Democratic Nominee for President, Hillary Rodham Clinton, has associated an innocent internet meme with Nazism and white supremacy. In doing so, she has attacked millions of politically independent Americans who share and enjoy the meme. If she is not reprimanded in the strongest possible terms and asked by the current Administration to apologize, then the White House is signaling that it is OK to generalize millions of Americans; that is is OK to bully and intimidate into silence; that Reductio-ad-Hitlerum is an acceptable political tactic.
We ask President Obama to stand up for free speech by asking Clinton to apologize. We ask the White House to stand with Pepe.
