formally recognize the importance of forgiving American college debt for college student debt above $20,000.

Created by A.P. on December 05, 2012

American college student debt exceeded $1 trillion in the summer of 2012. This is more than American credit card debt. In the current state of the economy, Americans are defaulting on federal student loans due to exceptionally high payments.

We the American college population and American college educated, request, for the future of our nation, to forgive all federal student loan debt above $20,000 per college student for current college students and graduates.

This will allow the American educated to retain more of their income and begin to grow our economy faster. It will allow current graduates to not worry if they cannot find a full-time job immediately, and it will also help current college students in baccalaureate and terminal levels to continue studying without worry.
