July 20th, 1969, has come and gone seemingly unnoticed. The date is when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin made history by becoming the first people to step onto the lunar surface. A day of observation should be created in honor of the event. The holiday should be used to promote the study of space, math and science.
