Terrorism is defined as "the use of violence and intimidation in pursuit of political aims". The ku klux klan, otherwise known as the KKK, has earned this title since their inception as a radical terrorism group that has been active in North America and parts of Europe. Since the 1860s until this day, three distinct klan groups have been existence with millions of members who have all advocated widespread violence. Even their wikipedia entry mentions their acts as terrorism, and labels them as right wing extremists, which they are. If the Pentagon has any integrity they must declare the KKK for what they are: an extremist terrorist organization that is racially motivated, on grounds of principle, morality, integrity, and safety.
