On June 4th 1989, the Chinese government ordered the slaughter of a group of peaceful protesters. Somewhere between 300 and 1,000 civilians were killed when the Chinese Communist Party's People's Liberation Army turned machine guns and tanks onto unarmed citizens.
To this day, the Chinese government has not apologized for the massacre and severely punishes anyone who mentions it. Meanwhile, the West has done nothing to admonish China for this horrific violation of human rights.
We the People request that President Obama give a formal statement on June 4th 2016 formally reprimanding China and the CCP for murdering hundreds of citizens whose only crime was wanting an honest and open government.
