The settlement with HSBC bank was a slap in the face to all the grieving families of the victims of drug violence in this country and abroad. The fine levied on this bank was nowhere near a punishment for the support given by the bank to terrorists, murderers and kidnappers. There is no corporation nor a group of people that should be above paying the price for the violence that is happening now in Mexico and all of Latin America due to this violence. This bank supported the murderous cartels and did business with parties that have known ties to terrorists that are declared enemies of our country. The slap on the wrist given to HSBC is actually a slap in the face to any wife, husband, son, daughter, or relative of a fallen U.S. soldier or veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
